Desperately seeking a CF 12-5N prop
« on: August 01, 2023, 05:08:58 PM »
I have been convinced that I need to up my game to CF props.  If anyone has an excess of 12-5 Tractor CF props that they are willing to part with at an appropriate price I am in the market for some.

Ken, you might want to mention this is for an electric set up.  My guess you are looking for the Igor 12X5N 3 bladed prop.

I might mention that this is for a BadAss 3520 Electric motor.  I am looking for the Igor 12x5N 3 blade prop or something it's equal. H^^

Try eliminator props.
All they have in 3 blade stunt is a 12 x 4.25.  I really need a 12 x 5.  No mention of what it is made of or weight.  I suppose I could re-pitch the 12 x 4.25
but I suck at that sort of thing.

Weight is a big thing for electric props.  The lighter props respond faster to timer/accelerometer.

I just purchased an Eliminator 12 x 4.5 three blade.  I'll get a weight for you.

That’s a Bolly copy. Good for a PA 51, not electric

Hi Ken,

You might get in contact with Pavlo Kravchenko for Ukraine on FB. He has several very nice lightweight carbon fiber 3-blade props for electrics. He's great to deal with.

Doesn't appear to be many that need a home so I will order some from Igor.
