Sea Vixen-Cowl
« on: January 03, 2008, 11:15:14 AM »
Here is the cowl roughed out. It is a block with a 1/2" bottom added to extend aft to pickup the Landing Gear/Cowl tie down bolts. Only one bolt is required, but I have added a second just for cowl stability. The cowl now has to hollowed out.

We are getting closer now. It is time to make a check list of remaining items left to do; Tip Weight box; Leadout Guides; Permanent LG, fix nicks: etc, etc.

Tom:
That is REALLY looking good.  This has to be the most ambitous of all the Sheeks airplanes out there- NOTHING is "normal".  YOu are doing a great job of capturing and enhancing the Sea Vixen, both what Jack presented and the little touches that further enhance its realism.   H^^  CLP**  BW@

I can only counter with song lyric parodies!  010!

Tom, it looks more and more like a scale plane every time I see it!  Awesome.
