Well, another Olympic Mark VI is ready to fly. I have photos but the file is too large to post here as an attachment; I just tried and when it rejected the photo it also wiped out the text, so I am writing this again. Built from a Brodak kit, the idea was to recreate Gialdini's 1963 model to the extent possible using his paint scheme. LA46 power, stock muffler. Brodak dope over silkspan, then Sig Lite Coat buty clear that may resist 10% nitro better than Brodak clear is reputed to. If anyone is interested send me a PM and I will email some pics. Pete, I am sending you an email as soon as I get this posted. Should be ready for trim flights shortly once I get the leadouts set and install tip weight. Model balanced dead on the design CG with the LA and stock muffler, no ballast. 49.8 oz dry. Not sure if that is good or not, but seems reasonable for a 560" model with a dope finish.
