Here is a picture, courtesy of Bruno, showing Mr. Grondal with his #5 Nobler.  We have come to know this as the "Grondal Nobler".  Mr. Grondal told me that he called the first one his "AMA Special" since it was designed to fly the AMA pattern at the WC's.  He also told me that he built his first one from a Green Box Top Flite kit.
