That looks good, Bob. One of the reasons I didn't use Dave original method was that I felt I would have a lot of problems if the ribs (and particularly the slots for the beam) weren't perfectly cut. The way I did mine just felt easier to get straight and light. The light part has proven to be true. We'll have to see how the straight part comes out, but it looks very good so far.
What canopy are you using? I have a stack sitting on the bench right now, but none are a perfect match, though a couple are very close and one very, very close.
What's your projected all up weight at this point?
