I believe that's a beautiful old Gypsey. I did a muffler fitting for Al for this plane about 2 years ago. Not sure he ever got the engine run he was looking for.

I will never forget seeing FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME that beautifully SHINEY CORVETTE RED GYPSY OF HIS...AT THE 67 NATS. Perfection in every sense of the world.
NOW THAT WAS A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE......ALMOST WANTED  TO GO BACK TO THE DORM AND STICK THAT OLD STING RAY OF MINE IN THE NEAREST DUMPSTER.

If you will notice he also flys same direction as this old guy. I don't here anyone giving him a bad time about it. Could it be everyone else is flying the wrong direction.
