Brodak Tomahawk

Finally finished this model - happy to get it off my board. I am hoping to fly it this summer. It weighs 28.5 oz with the heavy wheels and spinner. Does anyone have any experience with this model, I built it from a Brodak kit. I used a lot of tips I learned from Sparky online.

Personally I'd remove most, if not all, of that right rudder.. It will cause yaw, which will slow the model down, not in a good way..

It's an OS .25 FP - on the Rudder offset, I will give it a few test flights, but I agree, I may have to reduce the offset (and unfortunately cut into the finish - ughhh)

As I have had both versions of the Tomahawk, don't sweat the rudder off set. It will do the pattern. May not win NATS but is a good plane. In fact I have both kits of the Tomahawk that I was going to build and power with OS LA 25's. But things happen.

Looks great Fred, just like on the Brodak box! Should be a great combo with the FP-25, have fun!

`Fred;
I built one back in the late '50's or early 60's (?)
Unfortunately, I can't remember squat about it........................(I'm 84)
I also built a "Hot Rock" and it was just that! Had a Torpedo 29 twin stack on it.
Good luck, Jerry
