I just got one of these kits too. Unlike the Playboy, I think this model has to be built in a jig, which I don't have at this point. But I agree that it is one of the smoothest looking classic beamers of all time.
Hi Clint,The Argus should not need a *jig*. I beamers are supposed to *jig* by using the fuselage sides and a tip plate which replaces the standard ribs at the *tip*. These you have to cut/sand to rib shape after the wing is finished.Bill <><
It's still a good idea to have some sort of interval support on the leading and trailing edge. Support at the fuse and tip are fine, but you can build in some sag in the leading and trailing edge without at least one (and brighter probably 2 or 3) supports in the middle.Just my experience.
