Leester,  I also have a Norvel .15 waiting to be used, i believe mine is a ame model and wants to run fast on some sort of pressure. It has about 30 minutes run time on the bench and was very tight when new, it will still lock up tight when flooded! Good luck with the motor you choose, i too have several projects going on including a scratch build Super Firecat, Vector kit and a foam wing .40 size trainer, oh yeah and all the 1/2 a's i want to build!! I am leaning toward a Flite Streak JR. for my Norvel down the road but if you choose to use yours on the little Magician i will be looking forward to the build reports as i love my full size Magician. Well the Fox 15X is the lightest I have at 3 1/2 oz next is the LAS 15 at 4oz (without muffler).

Love this laser cut kit even has 1/4" jig holes.

Just have to shape the leading edge and another complete sanding and it's ready for the fuselage.

Gettin close to finishing time, a bunch of sanding to do then some dope. As it is it's 9 1/2 oz the recommended weight is 15 oz.

I don't think its homely....in the '30s it would have been considered futuristic!  Wished I had a plan, I would build one myself.  Hmmmm....I do have a McCoy RH .19

Hey I built my Brodak Magician box stock.  No adjustable leadouts or weight box.  Flies mucho better than I can with Brodak .25 on 3 once fuel tank, Brodak of course.

Hi Leester, about the lead outs, I just don't know how the'll look with the covering on. I had cut some more tips out of 1/8 to make a sandwitch and burry them. Evan made a slider with the same line spacing as on the plans. that was a waste. as you might get 1/4 inch adjustment. Anyways looks good. looking forward to seeing finish and flight reports.

Thats exactly what i was thinking of doing. With the little blocks, not just the tubes, like mine are now.
