Uss Hancock 1965
« on: September 24, 2009, 06:22:16 AM »
Found this on the Internet, I was given a print at the time but lord knows what happened to it as this was 40 years ago. I'm the guy standing at the wing tip on the right. The guy sitting in the front row with a shirt was my life long friend that passed away several years ago from Alzheimer's.

I was 20 years old and weighed 180, best condition I've been in my entire life. VA-216 Black Diamonds maintenance crew aboard the USS Hancock off the coast of Vietnam in 1965.

Lets see your carrier pictures...

Well, I have know Bob for about 12 years or more and I can hardly believe he ever weighed as much as 180 lbs.  I even wanted to argue that it wasn't him in the picture.   ;D
