The Skua was indeed i/c powered but only by a weedy and well-muffled Taipan .15. It was the quietest and smallest engine at the meeting and it was very brave of George to fly it in the gusty and wet conditions! In contrast, I had the privilege of running the loudest and fastest with a Webra .61 in an MO-1...but also managed to take a chunk of Kevlar laminate out of the deck and turn a 3-blade prop into a 1-blade with my first landing which ended upside down - zero landing points! I'm hoping the pix taken by the other flyers of my barely controlled arrival don't make it to the forum...
