In addition to the regular Carrier events on Monday and Tuesday (Profile, Class I/II, and 15), I have again been authorized to include two additional events on Wednesday June 12th.

These events are Sig Skyray and NWS-40.  As shown in the NCS Top 20 report, these are two of the more popular events and have more reported scores than some of the Rule Book events.

Unlike the past schedules, this year the special events will be flown on Wednesday only.  One day is plenty of time to complete these two events.

Time permitting we will also score flights in the remaining carrier events for submission to the NCS Top 20.  There will be no entry fee or prizes for such flights.

Briefly, Sig Skyray is based on the event as originated at the Sig Fly In.  The airframe must be a Sig Skyray and the engine/motor is not limited.  The airspeed is capped at 75 MPH.

Northwest Skyraiders 40 Carrier is limited to the OS Max FP 40 and there is freedom of airframe design.  There is no speed limit, but with the allowable power 70 MPH is a reasonable target.  Unlike other events with hard-to-get engines, the OS Max FP 40 RC is the most popular engine on Ebay.
