Sure looks like a Sterling Gaurdian, but, that is not a full blown McCoy .60 like I use to fly.  Last one I did good with had a Rossi .60 with Bill Johnson throttle set-up.  No sliders and no hanging and Jim Finley would cringe every time I showed up in Wichita KS with that Redhead .60.   DOC Holliday

Don was correct it was Lakewood, Wa. 1965 and it was powered by McCoy 35RC blue head. It was my first carrier model.The next plane I built was a Roberts AM-1 Martin Mauler powered by an inverted Veco 45RC.It was no speed ball like the Mac 60s but it always started and completed a full flight with a 100 point landing. I still have a box of hardware I won with it.   Mike

Airplanes like this are what inspired me to get involved in Carrier (as a Junior many years ago) in the first place. 8)
