Sometimes one just has to share a thought or two that dosn't revolve around Carier planes etc. This morning I was awakened at 5AM with a phone call. *&^&%$%^ who the heck is calling at this time of morning? Ready to blast my opinion I picked up the phone and said "Hello". A long pause and I was just about to hang up when I faintly heard, "Hi Grandpa!" It was my grandson Logan, my best buddy flying' fishing partner calling from Afganistan. He has just been deployed there and is a Marine Helicopter mechanic. What a great way to an early start of a rainy day. Talking with him sure puts a new prespective on life. I miss him so much! Guess what I really am trying to say is savor the moment when you can. Love those near and dear and pray for those not closeby. Here is a shot taken about 5 years or so ago. It reflects a specail time and a very special day. Thanks for putting up with an old man's pride and anxiety.
