Wing Install Tempest II
« on: February 22, 2007, 08:57:26 AM »
I'm about 2/3 finished with the wing and would like some methods for the wing install I have not started the fuselage yet. I hate the idea of cutting the fuse sides after all that nice carbon fiber lamination is done. All ideas will be well apreaciated. Thanks Walt #^

Hi Walter,

I have seen several times where people cut slots for the flap horn to go through the fuselage without having to cut out the saddle.  I have only done that with profiles, but I think Torn Morris does it that way with his built ups.  Sounds like a good idea since the flap fairings tend to cover over the slot.
