Polyspan can be obtained from Controline Central (there should be an ad banner on Stunthanger)http://www.clcentral.com/products.asp?cat=46&pg=3

Not sure what the other request is...if you want Plyspan, it is a two layered tissue (as near as I can tell), sorta like Japanese Tissue...I'm not fond of it, but I believe SIG has it. FWIW, I'd just get CF mat from CST to use on the fuselage and solid wood areas, to avoid the shrinking/warping problems of silkspan.  D>K Steve

Go to:

www,modelresearchlabs.com.

They have Polyspan in decent sizes for the money and who knows you just might find some other neat stuff that you gotta have. They have a tutorial on the use of the stuff also.

 Hi.

At least in Europe Polyspan (or Salzer paper) is available is 3 thicknesses. The heavies one is not  good as the structure is not homogenic: it has longitudal bundles of fibers in it every few cm. Medium is best for everything. I don't recommend using the lightest, it needs much more dope to seal it properly and is also quite fragile I've used it in wing tip panels of my F1A's but won't use anymore. Weight difference between Medium and lw is minimal.
I buy mine from Mike Woodhouse's Free Flight supplies in UK.
