Vector 40
« on: January 30, 2007, 06:46:17 AM »
need some help mounting the bellcrank in a Vector 40 kit.  The bellcrank that came with the Brodak kit is that a good bellcrank to use?  Also it tells you to put #10 washers top and bottom with soilder, is that the best way or is there some other way ?  Z bend the rods and such to connect the flap horn and the rod to the bellcrank... Is there a better way?

Not in this application. When you have it all set up put thread locker on the wheel collar set screw.

As far as Z bending the pushrod, With this plane I think going with C/F pushrods and ball links is well worth it. Go with the best you won't regret it.
