Ultracoat Hinges
« on: September 24, 2011, 06:37:59 PM »
Two years ago when I built my WINGMASTER I decided to try Ultracoat Hinges.  The hinges were tight when I put them on.  Last week when I got that airplane out the elevator was very loose.  Do those hinges stretch over time.  Is it possible to shrink them tight again or should I just get rid of them and put in std pinned hinges?

If you're running glow power, the exhaust residue will  eventually loosen them.

Just hit them with the iron again.   If the glue joint has given up, you may need to replace them.   H^^
