1st try ended up with the stab tilted about 3/8". I went to harbor Freight and bought a couple more framing triangles. The are metal and have both metric and fractional scales on them. Paid less than $2 each - well worth it.
Here a couple of pics after I cut the stab loose and jigged it up to re-glue.
