I do believe 30* in each direction is plenty.

Don't you remember when plans called out 45* on the elevators and 30* on the flaps??? (and that was in each direction)  y1  From all I read, it appears that we never probably get to 30*, but .............

Tommy Luper probably had all of 10 degrees (probaly less) in both directions on his Ringmaster that he used to clean up with!

Yup, and I have seen a couple that have, maybe, 20 degrees....
Windy once said that 15 was okay.....
