Top Flite ARF Nobler Leadout Wire Attachment
« on: October 22, 2006, 10:38:04 PM »
I am putting togther a Top Flite ARF Nobler. It seems Top Flite made a change on the leadout wire attachment to the bellcrank. Instead of running the wire thru the bellcrank eye, they attach the wire to a wire clip and attach that to the bellcrank. This looks like a good way to avoid the leadout wire wearing thru. Thing is, I don't like the looks of the loop of leadout wire where it is crimped to the clip.

I would still put in a complete Tom Morris system - that's what I did with mine & it's ball bearing smooth & bullet proof.
