How much fiberglass did you put on the wing center, what weight fiberglass, what weave orientation, and can I assume epoxy matrix? It looks like it's maybe 5"-6" wide?  H^^ Steve

Nice bird!
Did you change the fin/rudder design?
What are you planning to use for finishing, assuming you will paint it?

The rudder is the only change (same size). I had it laying around and it was light. I will be using dope as I always do. Now I can co back to work on my TOP Secret Electric ship. Come NATS time I will have 6 ships to choose from. More than likely it will be one of the new ones.

I have forgotten how much work it is to finish a plane. So I went to the hardware store and bought the thing that makes my finishes look the way they do in a can. Should make it faster.

Elbow grease, A rare find indeed.

I finally found one of these the other day so hopefully If I can find some elbow grease as well I can get my winter projects moving.

Still sanding takes a lot of sanding to get a slick finish. I'll post pics as soon as I start to paint.

If you use Derek's sekrit Ragu primer you don't need to do much sanding first! n~

The hinges are the last step in the finish. Very last.
