 H^^ why do some planes have a rudder adjustment??? ??? and how dose it work?

Some time ago I adopted the plan that if it could be built adjustable, why not! I've used this simple rudder adjustment on several planes now and although I try to get the rudder as straight as possible during flight, that doesn't always work! And this is no time to start carving...That's when I'm glad I have this little cutie in my bag of tricks! Saves the day on the overheads many times. (But then, I'm neither an expert builder or trimmer)!

It also helps to put a 1/64th ply reinforcement under the horn...

so i see ,where where the rod  goes into the body its only bent and dose nothing correct? and only the adjustment part goes lft. and rt. correct? why not go only left to straight why have rt. rudder? %^@ CLP**

Correct! The rod has a "Z" bend on the fuselage end that penetrates a small hole that has been CA'd to firm up the wood.

The ultra-lite clevis is turned clockwise to shorten the arm and provide more rudder offset. No, I don't use rudder inset!

The same system can be used to adjust a wing tip trim tab, but there you need both up and down on the tab.

I do mine similar except I put the rudder mount farther from the pivot.
