More Vacuum Bagging Technology
« on: January 15, 2013, 03:52:23 PM »
In these parts we can buy vacuum-sealed bags of Starbucks coffee at the grocery store.  They come with a check valve in the side that seals them nicely.  These might have some bagging application, but I can't think of what.

Not too long ago my wife bought a little vacuum bag thing for our kitchen.  It has a tiny little hand held battery powered pump and the bags have a little valve in them.  Could be great for cowls and such.

My friendly bagging guru, was using the blanket storage bags, known locally as Space Bags.

They're big enough for the biggest Team Racer wings. Therefore they'd be big enough for a large stunter's tailplane.

I'm actually experimenting with wings. VacBag'ing CF and foam.   ;D

Small test wing sections actually, CF is costly.   HB~>
