I was contemplating that Bill. In the old days I used individual spanners . Not sure now I could put one vertical spar in. Think I'll do 1/8"x3/16" hard stick struts.

You can slip in the 1/16th" X ~1" spar in anytime up until you cover the wing, I had the wing built on my USA-1 and was going to use the uprights on each pair of ribs (top and bottom
) when Billy told me very sternly I might add, to NOT leave out that spar and do not use the uprights. And as many I-Beamers as he has built, I gotta believe him. It makes a definite difference in the rigidity of the wing. On an Ares size model, the uprights are fine, especially if the TE is faced with .007 sheet CF, but the big ones need the spar. I would never argue with THE MAN.
