Original Nobler flaps

(1/3) > >>

Charlie New:
The Brodak original Nobler plan shows a two and three quarter inch flap at the root on the inboard wing and at two inch chord on the outboard wing. Is this correct or is the plan wrong?
Typo it should be two and a half inches for the outboard wing.

Must be as George signed it off on the plans and kit.  I flew mine at VSC one year. D>K

Jim Svitko:
You might want to check into this and verify.  A 3/4 inch difference in flap chord is quite large.  I do not remember seeing such a large difference in flap chord on any Nobler version or for that matter on any other plane.

I would like to see those plans.  The Brodak site shows the plans are available but no image.  Can you post a photo of those plans?
