I posted a how to question for cutting down a canopy to fit the top block.  Are there a certain kind of scissors for this?

I use Hobbico curved tip canopy sissors from Tower.

Ok, it was supposed to be funny.   

I just draw the approximate shape on the canopy and use a pair of scissors to cut it out then trim down until it fits. Then sand paper.

I seem to run into problems trying to get the shape close, end up cutting away to much of the canopy.  I just got a couple from Sig, so will see how it goes.

Don't try to hit the mark of the first cut. Leave yourself a half inch or so of wiggle room the trim it a little at a time.

Temporarily securing 60-80 grit sandpaper (grit side out of course!  ) to the fuselage is a very good way to do the final fitting to the fuselage.

I do the same method as Windy (and others, I'm sure) shows on many of his tapes as to cutting a trough in the top block to inlet the canopy.  Gives you even a touch more wiggle room.
