I'm trying to mount my canopy by following your photo shoot of your Ares Canopy mount. I would like mine to be black the same as yours. Does the black paint go on the inside or the outside of the canopy and what kind of paint should I use???     Thanks

Not Sparky think he's busy building, paint goes on the inside, I rough up the inside with fine sandpaper and paint with Auto Zone Dupli-color.
