Planning ahead is the key to success.
When I decided on the Thundergazer for contests, I knew i had much to learn, as a builder and as a pilot.
Been practicing hard, and it's been paying off, as I've gotten very good results in contests this year.
So going to contests means traveling and that means spending cash, that is cheaper when more people share the trip.
Putting F2b models and people in compact cars is hard, so everybody has a take-apart here.
But, It also makes it possible to finish this one, and then build a new fuselage, for the eflite 32 I have here, and then being able to fly eletric, without having to build a whole new Bird.
I can also experimente with different stab/elev, like foam, build up or foam/build up and learn from it.
To be very honest, I'm really impressed with Jose's moulded fuselages and might try it too, so it's like having a few chassis and engines and finding the right set up.
I've learned so much in this fórum, and am grateful for it, but the most importante thing I've learned is that we never really actually stop learning.
And there's Always so much to learn...
