Inboard engine / Tank mounting ?
« on: May 13, 2007, 08:57:32 PM »
Hi ,

I remember purchasing a profile Nobler (with foam core wing and built up horiz. stab) in the late 80's , or early nineties .
What struck me odd , was the placement of the engine and fuel tank to the inboard side of the profile fuse .
To what advantage might it offer ?

Just curious  y1

Don't know for sure, but my understanding was that it helped keep the plug "cleaner" on the profiles.  This *second hand* information...........
