flaps too soft
« on: July 28, 2013, 07:44:25 PM »
Hey guys Im back at it.As I mentioned in a previous post Im in the process of building a Vector arf,not an arf anymore. The flaps were covered with glass cloth and doped down but are real soft and flexible. My question is could I dope some silkspan down over them to stiffen them up? or should I make new ones or will they work ok?

Thanks, thats kind of what I had in mind. Im thinking about making new flaps and laminate the balsa with 1/32 ply then cover accordingly.
