Depends on the lighting , and undercoat . Silver for final primer / undercoats lightest cover for a even topcoat .
You can see that red , or if a Ferrari ' Scarlet ' / blood red usually , depending if its faded .
Id think in your case GOLDBERG Red dope would be correct . Ive actually got a spray can of it, got it & two of silver , 1 I used on the P 51 Fuselage .
The Goldberg red is a rich deep red . Tho theve aged so need a little shaking , and take forever to harden . A few weeks in the sun would do it .
