butrate color dope on small plastic parts?
« on: July 25, 2015, 04:31:15 PM »
Can I paint my plastic wheel hubs with butrate dope?  Or should I use a fuel proof enamel?  Thanks, if it will stick I would like to paint my wheel hubs with the butrate to match the trim on my plane.

Everybody says dope is fuel proof.

I would scratch them up and paint them with whatever paint you want, then hit them with a coat of two part auto clear.

I'll be painting hubs this way for the Mig-3.
