Block coats
« on: May 31, 2006, 08:13:38 PM »
I tried something diffrent (at least for me). I painted 2 coats of clear with the Zinc in it. Then I went to the primer I usally use  (NAPA) cheap primer. This airplane is going to be a little on the portly side but it should have a nice finish. Around 64-65 oz I have been told that it won't matter much so we will see.

Sparky,
Would you please list any adjustable control features you've built into this model?

That's good to know.
once the flap to elevator ratio is set and the plane is built that's where it stays. where do you set that at? 1 to 1? elevator faster?

You will find on the bigger and heaver planes it usually ends up 1-1 so I fell that if I bench trim the control surfaces there is no need for adjustable control surfaces. This is JMHO.
