Looks like alot of work (fun) is that a jig two hold tail feathers until dry ? Sorry if its a dumb question but i dont quite understand it.

Not a dumb question at all Ron.  These are Take Apart Ringmasters and that ishow the stab and rudder are held on.  The stab rests on that platform on the back of the fuselage and the rudder slips through a slot in the stab and seats down in the interior of the fuselage.  Then you insert two 4-40 bolts to hold the whole tail assembly on.  When you disassemble the plane for traveling, to take the wing off you have 3 screws to undo and two screws to undo for the tail..  5 total screws hold the plane together.  Really a slick design.  I will post some pictures when I get them finished.
