The Wind Stunt Grunt
« on: September 20, 2007, 07:45:52 PM »
Dave Miller of Pasco is the "Wind Stunt Grunt" for sure.  Even Howard Rush stopped flying the pattern and flew out the tank in level flight.  With wind in the 15 to 20 mph range Dave stepped up and did the complete beginner pattern while all others were thinking about packing it in and also thinking "Is he in his right mind?".  That broke the ice and others got after it from then on.  Thanks Dave for showing all the other how it's done.  Me included.
