I just had to add a picture of Utahs own short stunt guru.
The one and only GSO, Gordan Delaney. My good friend and mentor.
The other picture shows our nieghbor to the north, Pat Johnston, showing why hitting 5 foot bottoms is so easy for him. ( above his shoulder) Ha.

I thought I had some shot of Gordan somewhere in my old boxes of slides...but no luck so far...it would be great to see some of his legendary older models...and how he used to look waaaay back in the early stone age days gone bye-bye.
Gordy and the rest of us have truly "COME A LONG WAY BABY!...It is a known fact that most of us learned to fly control line exactly the same way.
If I am not mistaken...Gordy and I both had the same stunt master...to teach us the fine art of how to tie that 2lb round river rock to a 60ft string?
Then with some difficulty...we learned to roll that rock down a hill...to begin the coveted art of spinning that river rock AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND our heads without getting dizzy.
Gee..we have come a long way....since those early days and for proof positive. The came the art of hand lauchin' those stones. That's another wacky story for sure...
Back to those beautiful photos of Gordan plane.
LOOK AT THAT AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL STUNT MODEL OF GORDY'S WOW! ALSO THAT PHOTO OF HIS NEW FLAWLESS "SWINGIN' TECHNIQUE IN THE CENTER OF THAT STUNT CIRCLE...SEAL THE DEAL that we have truly COME A LONG, LONG, LONG WAY since those early RIVER ROCK models of long long ago.
