Just yesterday...checked in with my long time wind tunnel friend.. Ralph Johnson.(One of the original "MODEL BOYS" who turned 96 years old a few month back) Both he and his wife are still living in their beautiful home in Puyallup Wa.
He recently went through some pretty intensive surgery but doing quite well...his wife who has been wheel chair bound and both now back in home after the brief rehab recovery center.
TALK ABOUT YOUR TOUGH OLD MODEL BIRDS! WOW! H^^ BW@

Ralph Johnson took this BxW photo of two of his fellow Boeing Wind tunnel modelers...Lou Proctor & Phil Dickert who have returned to their heavenly home.
Below that is the Polariod that I used to doodle up his retirement drawing.
Ralph continued to working at the windtunnel after his retirement age...simply because he LOVED AIRPLANES AND PING PONG GAMES AT LUNCH TIME.

Time sure flys. Just removed a Veco C/S from a foamie combat ship. I'll put a LA .40 in it and retire the Veco. It still runs but why bust it now. Bought it new 1961.
