Accidents do happen and like you say glade you changed props. I also think having an accident does not entitle you to anything except to evaluate your methods. I do feel sorry for this to happen to anyone but have learned over the years that most accidents happen because certain proceedures were not followed. What I would do to make stunt grunt for telling this story to the rest of us. It is not easy to admit to all  that your accident did  happen. I think most of us have been there and when we get older we are more prone to making mistakes. Even at my age I have to remind myself that this whirling devish that is on front of the motor can be lethal to fingers and limbs.

As stated accidents do happen once a a great while.  Usually it is because we get in a hurry or didn't follow procedures.  I still bear the scars of the chunk taken out of my index finger by a 10-4 power point on an OS 25.  John Bender wanted me to go to emergency room.  I refused as I have been cut to the bone numerous times not watching what or how I was starting fiber glas props.  I don't ever plan on using carbon props.  Later,  DOC Holliday
