Congrats Rod; If you are any thing like me you are going to love retirement. I retired 2 years ago, and I have been having the time of my life. You get to play with airplanes a lot more. #^ After a few weeks you will wonder how you ever had time to work. Really nice meeting you at VSC this year. y1

Congratulations on your retirement. You will love it. As long as you have a hobby it LL~ will be great. What I like is everything that you used to do was timed around your work. Now you can do what you have to and you don't have to worry about when. And then there is the support group like Shultzie and I that will help you with any withdrawl symptons you will have from not working. Like I told everyone I still have a boss at home LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ HB~>

Ahhh, yes!!! You'll miss the smell of fresh "mung" and cutting fluilds backed to the ochestration  sound of those machine tools reverbing off the walls or the model engineering group upstairs yelling and crying to the flutter-faries in STA 6

Oh...yeh! That is a very old photo that I took with  Tex Johnston with the cowboy hat. He was that guy that rolled the first -80 707 over Lake Washington. What a great test pilot and super fun guy...that loved the wind tunnel and made a habit of always stopping by to see what was NEW long after he retired.
He is gone now...but never will be forgotten.
