Walker Firebaby
« on: April 10, 2014, 01:59:24 AM »
I have just received a Firebaby from a gentleman here on the list, and it differs from the one scratch built in the thread pinned at the top of this section. It has an all plastic fuselage, but the wing looks the same, and it has a firewall mounted Cox .049 Baby Bee on it. Still has the same look at the balsa version. Is the a later Pactra version, made after Walker passed away and the company was sold to Pactra? They used plastic on the fuselage of a version of the Interceptor catapult glider at that time also. I'm thrilled to get it, but need to find a better wing for it or make a new one, and a stab/elevator assembly for it also to complete it.  Maybe even a copy of some assembly instructions. It's bigger than I thought ! I also plan to scratch build one like the one above, if anyone has any plans , parts or pieces that they would like to sell.
   Thanks a lot,
