Haha. So if you fly CCW, which is most people, with a TD being pretty powerful on a super light plane.... the plane will always want to roll in. In a proto speed event where the take off and acceleration are critical, a left handed run just keeps it out on the lines. Huge advantage in that respect. Now for sport flying and a hand launch, it don't matter. Once it's in the air, and the plane is trimmed there really is not a difference.
That could be argued, but for sport flying or speed, there's no difference once it's airborne
