Old Scientific kit NOT a W Musciano desgin.
« on: April 03, 2014, 04:57:33 PM »
I finished a Little Devil kit some time back, no plans in the kit, until I turned over the box cover. The "plans" and instructions are printied inside the box cover. I've never seen this before. Also the Little Devil was designed by a different man, but Walt drew the plans. Photos of box follow. Who knew??
Who was /is Spampani?? H^^

Hi Ty,

Thanks for the photos.

Always enjoy these trips back to the early flying days, but have to admit I never saw this kit before, or any other with plans printed inside the box lid.

Bill
Not a flyer (age related), but still love the hobby!

The Scientific Little Devil was my first model airplane - in 1952, I think. Powered by an OK Cub .039. In this kit, the plans, such as they were, were separate. These things will fly, but not very well in the hands of a 12-13 year old who had never built a model or flown one. Ed
