I have a question.  Can they be ordered with only a mounting plate so that it will work with an external tank.  Would hate to buy a brand new engine and then have to start chopping on it.

I am lucky that I have one Cox Pee Wee 020 with a factory made mounting ring in place of the metal tank.

Yes, the engine does come with or without a tank. I have not seen it yet but I am told with a metal venturi. Check the web site for price and ordering information. I ordered 50 each of these two types of engines and sales have been good. I am not sure how many will be made I hope lots.
