Due to popular request we are finally about to kit this Walt Musciano designed plane with extra parts to convert over to beam mount. Newer .049 to .060 engines or older ,09 to .15 engines.

Yes, but I am always afrair to answer these questions with a simple yes or no as Scientific made so many changes. It will be 18" with a lot of chord. The plans are with our new draftsman now.

Hi Larry. Seems a little small for a .15, even an early finned Fox. But great for just about any decent .049. Currell

The span is 18" but I have the area at 135 sq. in. so I reccomend .06 to .09 but either a high power .049 or an old low power (early Fox) .15 can be used. I am adding optional beam mounts to make this design more useable.

The plans are here and I will begin cutting the kits next week. There a few minor with the instructions so the first 30 kits will get a pamphlet that will include the information that was omitted from the plans. I suggest putting one of those new .06's on it to fly stunt or carrier.
