And that wasn't even an early one in the clear "crystal" box! The TD .020 has brought a pretty high price for a long time, because of the popularity of .020 replica free flight competition. And like has already been mentioned, most N.I.B. examples probably have been pressed into use. The .010 used to bring big money, but they made another run of those with different color plastic and seemed to cool them off for a while. Never saw one got for this much, but 100 to 150 bucks for a N.I.B. example in the clear box. I bought one of the second run engine N.I.B. for ten bucks at a plastic model car swap meet once. There are probably many more out there. I wonder if there is any idea of total production numbers? Of any of the Cox engines?
I have several good used and some N.I.B TD.020s but don't plan to sell. I would probably just blow the money on something else. I could scrape together or earn 400 bucks one way or another, but not find more TD.020s as easily.
