Brodak .049 Disassembly
« on: October 02, 2007, 08:07:25 AM »
How do we take apart the Mk 1 Brodak .049?  We need to get the crankshaft out.  How do we get the connecting rod off the crankshaft?

Unscrew the blue cylinder.
Remove the sleeve.
The lower end of the rod should slide right off.

Why are you taking it apart?

Crankshaft broke off.  I told him to send it back to Brodak but he decided to fix it himself.  So how do we remove the sleeve?  It seems pretty tight.  Thanks!

It's fixed.  He heated it up in the oven and the sleeve slid right out.  Should be ready to go now.
