BOS----Builder of the Starter--Make your own 1/2A Starter

I built this some years back and it has worked quite well. So look around the basement and see if you might already have most of the junk.
I note that FMA www.fmadirect.com/Products.htm?cat=15
has a pretty cheap motor on sale that could be used (the 600 one). Don't forget to buy some connectors that will fit your battery type.

I have'nt read the whole file Alan but I did skim over it. Your starter is ingenious. I wish it would have been accepted by the AMA site as I'm sure the guys could use the info.
I particularly like the 7.2 volt battery pack. It seems like it will provide lower RPM so s not to wreck a 1/2A engine. Thankyou.
