Baby bee and Golden bee tank extender ??
« on: September 12, 2011, 05:43:31 PM »
I'm just curious here. I think Kavaan at one time made a tank extender that made the tank bigger.
I'm just curious if they are still made and if anybody had tried using more than one to really exteend the tank size ?

It'd probably work better to get a friend with a lathe to turn one out.  It'd probably work even better yet to get a current quick-start engine back and use that instead, with a separate tank.  Or do violence to a vintage tank and drill a hole in it for an external tank like people did back in the day.

If you do, don't show it to the guy who's desperately looking for a Golden Bee tank, though.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.
