Accumulations?
« on: April 28, 2020, 03:16:27 PM »
Do you guys have things that seem to accumulate almost unnoticeably?  You just realize one day there’s a pile?  I just realized today how many wheels and plastic cox backplates I have. I didn’t try to count them. The pile is just bigger than I would have thought. Also thin stamped metal bell cranks. Can’t explain where they came from. A while back I ran across a tester’s .049 that I didn’t even know I had. Thought I might have absorbed it from another person but he didn’t remember it either. I tossed it because the piston didn’t move when the crank rotated. All that and other stuff and somehow I end up short of something. Two online orders in a month and I didn’t think to get sharp blades. Oh well  ...

Sure Wayne. It has happened to me too. Worst,  I will order something I need now , just later to find that I already had it somewhere in the plie. Plain forgot.

I sometimes look at all of my kits and engines and begin to suspect that they are procreating while I am not around.  I find things I have no memory of on a fairly regular basis.

Worse, I come across stuff or things for which I haven’t a clue what they were for or where it came from. I can’t even sell it if I don’t know what it is. You accumulate a lot of stuff in 77 years. H^^

Anyone want a dingus or thingamabob or perhaps a prime whatzit? CHEAP?  LL~

I'll take 'em Larry!! What I can use are some nice ferndocks, I'm running low on ferndocks and whachacallits. I'm willing to trade some hexagonal crankshaft limiter relays for them! y1 y1
I have bee cleaning up and clearing out some stuff during this lay off period and making some progress. I have my own stuff that I have collected, plus I have had the estates of 3 or 4 guys go through my house and garage in the past two years and have lots of leftovers from those also. But things are looking better. not where I want and need to be but looking better.
   Type at you later,

Sorry, up to my ears in hexagonal crankshaft limiter relays unless they are left hand solid state.

Mystery Fuel. No slam on the manufacturer. I’m sure I defaced the label.
